| I grew up in northeast Ohio in a rural community east of Cleveland, and have every intention of returning to small town practice. I developed a special interest in geriatrics in medical school, but am looking forward to participating in the full spectrum of family medicine and integrated whole person care practiced at Mad River Family Practice. I was fortunate to land a "room with a view," a home in southeast Logan County right across the road from a large dairy farm!

| Having spent time in Cameroon, West Africa, during medical school exercising my budding medical capabilities as well as my french language skills, and having married my husband "Mac," who has a special interest in water resource development, we are considering a career in medical missions. I really enjoy the variety and the opportunity for personal interaction with patients that family medicine presents. West Liberty, Ohio, the small town where I live, feels like home, since I spent my childhood and early high school years in central Ohio.

| I grew up not far from Mad River Family Practice, and my husband and I currently operate a certified organic farm near LaRue, Ohio. My interests in family medicine include general women's health as well as the specific areas of obstetrics and gynecology. I enjoy hiking, camping and horseback riding as well as helping my husband on the family farm.

| Natives to larger towns, my husband Alan and I are now learning the pleasures of small town living - and first time homeownership! With an undergraduate degree in Biobehavioral Health, my passions are for rural medicine, preventative health, and individuals with special needs (just ask my husband or pet rabbit, Peanut). An avid giraffe-collector, I also enjoy camping, scrapbooking, and spending time with friends and family.

| I am a native of Canada, although I have also lived in Scotland and India. My journey through medical school took me to the Dominican Republic, Cambridge, England and Chicago. My husband recently graduated from the Rural Program and we are currently exploring our options for practice together. I enjoy dancing, decorating and spending time with my family, who are a very important part of my life.
